Job matters
We work not only to earn a living but also to present our skills. The fact that we earn for us and the family by utilizing our strengths can be considered an achievement. It is a nice feeling when we land up on our favourite job.
We feel insecure when we are unemployed. There is so much negativity and pressure when we are jobless. We often sloth a little too much to keep the job intact and to make sure everything is in order. We lose interest when we work without motivation. We generally feel demotivated,
1). When we hate our work.
2). When the job rewards are not great.
3). When the office structure is terribly bad.
4). When we have other interest areas.
Most often we are forced to take a risky call - to call it quits
or to stretch further only to look back and feel regretful later. What I feel is that it is always
better to do a job we like than to slaughter hard for the sake of money. But
it is a tricky choice. Money brings momentary happiness and it can
add some comforts into our lives. When we realize that we are doing a job
which is not catering to your interest areas and we are not
living the life that we desire, it can make us feel worse.
The best trick to escape ourselves from such a tricky state is by
knowing when to move on. But how do we get it right? We need to think and analyse logically -
1) Where do we stand?
2) What are we lacking?
3) What is the way ahead?
4) Are we happy now?
5) Is the new decision going to make us feel better?
Try to answer one question at a time to form
clarity in mind. Make sure to have a backup plan ready. Be ready to listen to varied opinions and not to fluctuate the mind. Trust our abilities and skills. Let life throw
up challenges. Make sure we deal them with clarity.
