Freedom of love
Love is an emotion as well as feeling. We feel its emotional value when we undergo the challenges. We sense this hard feeling when we are with the person we love. Love is not a longlasting bond now as differences occur and people walk away more frequently than what was in the past. When do we experience the most of this feeling? It is when we learn to love the other person without imposing too many conditions. When we restrict the likes of a person by assuming that we are preaching them in the name of love, we are standing as a barrier against the passion of our most beloved person. When a person who holds a special value in our heart acts against our interests and likes, the end result is devastating even if we argue that the issue is simple in nature. Different people value things differently. Love spreads when we learn not to overimpose things and let the other person live their life like the way they always loved to do. After a point it'd come to our notice that the other person too has evolved because of the honesty of our action. While doing this, we need not have to feel that we are doing something praiseworthy because acceptance is a basic human trait which some of us had lost in the complexities of present life.
No one is a perfect individual and there isn't any need to act like one either. But we need to understand our flaws when people point them out with a silent determination that we are going to mark an improvement on it from now onwards. Learn not to over react and take control over other individuals. Letting them flourish on their own space while standing with them is the more lovely and caring approach in today's age because freedom is neither given or taken, it is life.
Freedom to choose one's own companion is also an important aspect often sidelined due to societal or family pressure. Sometimes we are forced to let the others make a call on a matter concerning our future. This is a distressing development and it is against the basic nature of love. Love does not occur through forced actions and whenever it is done that way, the result is not encouraging. The freedom to choose one's own life companion should be absolute and any restrictions could only make the matter worse for individuals.
As a society, we developed an intolerant approach towards love by imposing barriers in the name of caste, economy, education and other factors. Our family system works in such a way that different people will have a big say on our life alliance. It is 'necessary' to get a nod from many of these people to enjoy a fruitful alliance. But it is heartbreaking to let go a person not because of our own disinterest, but because some others dislike that person. This underlines the need to shape up our voice. It will help to fight against adversities when we are met with challenges.
Freedom of love is an earned distinction and the factors that help us achieve this feat are education and employment. We need to be independent and capable to take care of the other person. It is a responsibility to be shared among the couples for a fruitful life. One must also be committed to one's own self because self love is a medicine that can help us treat the other person in a better way in daily life.
